From the interior design, plating to exquisite deserts. If you’re a sucker for aesthetic cafes in Seoul, you clicked on the right post. Living in Korea, can be pretty hectic. Fortunately, cafes in Korea provide the best environment for you to wind down and chill. In this post, I will be introducing 4 aesthetic cafes to visit at Hwegi station in Seoul, subway line 1.
Yang Gwibi Cafe
This is personally one of my favourite cafes.
The interior of this cafe lives up to my aesthetic taste! It is a small cafe located at the roadside. It is definitely an eye catcher when you walk pass it.
Their famous menu is their souffle pancake. A fluffy pancake similar to the one at the Innisfree cafe. The pancakes costs 9,000 won which is a steal!
Also one thing about the pancakes here that’s different that I would like to point out is, they use fresh cream alongside maple syrup.ย ย Operation hours: 11 am – 10pm It is a 6 minutes walk from the Hoegi Station Exit 1 to the Yang Gwibi Cafe. I suggest you use Naver Map or Kakao Map for easy travel. The name of the cafe in English is Yang Gwibi, but if you have a hard time looking for it, try keying in the Korean ์๊ท๋น ์นดํ (Yang gwibi cafe).ย How to get there?
* However, keep in mind that their souffle pancake’s last order is until 9pm only.ย
Coffee Blanc
This coffee blanc is a cozy little cafe has a pretty interior. It looks simple, there aren’t too much furniture. Minimal, cozy and elegant.ย
I like that lighting decoration at the entrance. It translates to “Really? That happened to you? Come here, I’ll give you some coffee” Reading the sign in Korean, they sound like comforting words that someone would say to you after you tell them what’s bothering you.
I ordered an earl grey latte which isn’t a common menu at the other cafes and it’s so good.
The furniture all have gold outline coats that really compliment the cafe well.ย
How to get there?
It is an 8 minutes walk from Hoegi Station Exit 1 to the cafe.

Jeffrey Flower Cafe
If you’re a fan of flowers, coffee and deserts, you’re going to love this place. A cafe surrounded with flowers and plants. Chilling in this cafe with your favourite coffee and savory desert is so chilling.
We ordered ‘Some Latte’ in strawberry and chocolate flavour. We also ordered their famous ‘Groom Latte’. Their menu is different and special that you can’t easily find at other cafes. Another reason for you to go here!

An old movie playing by a projector nicely placed towards the wall. The interior is really well done.
The hanging lights decoration above the table my friend and I was sitting at. You can also buy pretty flowers there as they also serve as a flower shop. Being constantly surrounded in the hush and busy city of Seoul, being in that cafe feels like a holiday! Very refreshing.
If you ever find yourself at Hwegi Station Line 1 of the subway, try stopping by at the cafes mentioned here!
