NAMSAN SEOUL TOWER

Namsan Seoul Tower is the main tourist attraction in Seoul. If you go all the way up of this tower you will be at 480 meters above sea level. This Tower has only been recently adapted to welcome public as used to be only a broadcasting tower to send out TV & radio signals. Itโs now one of the representative building of Seoul. The actual tower is open from 10 AM to 11 PM. The balcony and park surrounding the tower is open 24 hours.
HOW TO GET THERE :
By Bus:ย
Depending on the station you came from you can various buses :
- From Subway Line 3, Dongguk University Station, Exit 6, you can take either take bus 02, 03, or 05.
- From Subway Line 3 and 4, Chungmuro Station, Exit 2, you can get into bus 02 or 05.
- From Subway Line 4, Myeong Dong Station, Exit 3, hop into bus 05
- The fare of this bus trip is 1 200 Won. You can catch those buses between 7:00 AM and 11:30 PM.
By Namsan Cable Car :
Operates between 10:00 to 23:00. The round-trip fare for adults is 9 500 Wonย and for children 6 500 Won. The one way fare for adults is 7 000 Won and for children & senior citizens 4 000 Won. To find the Cable car station, get off at Myeongdong Station on Line 4, Exit 3. You should then walk for about 15 minutes following the street on the right side of the Pacific Hotel.
By Foot :ย
If you follow the same directions to get to theย Namsan cable car station from Myeong dong, you will see across the street, from the station, a pedestrian walkway. Itโs a 2 km hike up to Namsan Park, it will takes around 30 minutes to get there and itโs an easy trail.
PRICES :
You can admire the view from the balcony around the tower but if you feel like getting to the top of the tower you should get an entrance ticket : 11 000 Won for adults and 9 000 Won for Kids.
BONUS TIPS :
If you are Hello Kitty lover, inside of the tower, you can find Hello Kitty Island.
HANEUL PARK

This park is mainly famous during autumnal season. โHaneulโ literally means โskyโ in Korean, thatโs why it offers some of the nicest view of Seoul. This park is the perfect example of ecological and urban regeneration. Itโs open from 5AM to 10PM. But you might check the schedule depending on the season. The entrance is free of charge.
HOW TO GET THERE :
First, stop at the World Cup Stadium Station on Line 6, and go to exit 1 before walking around 25 minutes to get to the bottom of the park. To access to top of the park you have then two options :
By foot :
There is a wooden stairway with 291 steps.
By Park Electric Tram :
The round trip fare is 3 000 Won.
SEOULLO 7017

On top of Seoul Station an overpass constructed in 1970 to help the traffic congestion of Seoul. It was used for years as an highway to western and eastern halves until it got transformed into Seoullo 7017, an elevated public park reserved to pedestrians. Get there to get one of the best inside view of Seoul. There is no entrance fee.
HOW TO GET THERE :
You can either start from Namdaemun Market entrance: Stop at Hoehyeon Station, Line 4, and go to exit 4.
You can also start from the middle of the park: Get off at Seoul Station, Line 1 & 4, and take exit 2 or 8.
SEOUL SKY AT LOTTE TOWER

On the top of Lotte Tower, the worldโs fifth tallest building (555 meters high), you will find The Seoul Sky Observatory. Lotte Tower is the tallest building in South Korea so it is the only place where you can take a full gorgeous 360-degree view of Seoul. Not only you can check the view but there is also plenty of activities to do that can only be done 555 meters height ! The entrance fee depends of the activities you will include or not.
HOW TO GET THERE :
Stop at Jamsil Station, Line 2 & 8, and go to exit 1 and 2 or 10 and 11.
