The candle fountain can be found near the entrance of Cheonggyecheon and if you really look forward to seeing the candle fountain in its full glory then I recommend you to visit at night. This beautiful fountain boasts its two different layers of waterfall synchronized with 3 different lights.
Palseokdam well
This particular well is no ordinary well. Why you may ask? Well! (no pun intended)thatโs because Palseokdam is a wishing well. All you need to do is toss a coin in the well and make a wish. What also makes this pond so unique is the fact that it’s built using stones from 8 provinces of Korea.
A little heads up: You may need an extra coin or two because tossing the coin in Palseokdam well isnโt as easy as it sounds.

This museum is a delightful feast to the eye. Cheonggyecheon museum is based on 6 floors with glass exterior, designed to imitate the water of the steam. The museum displays the history of Seoul before the beautification and restoration of the Cheonggyecheon stream took place.

How To Reach Cheonggyecheon?
If you want to make your way to Cheonggyecheon then the Seoul Subway line has 3 routes that can help you reach your destination.
- You can make your way to subway line 5 which will lead towards Gwanghwamun Station, from there you can make an exit from Exit 5.
- Another way to reach Cheonggyecheon is to hop on the subway line 1 or 2. This will take you to the City Hall Station from where you can make an exit at Exit 4
- You can also take subway line 1 and make your way to Jonggak Station and make an exit from Exit 5. This particular route will take you near the steam however, thereโs an 8-minute walk ahead of you if you want to reach the beginning point of the steam.
