Busan city is one of the most famous travel destinations in Korea. The city has been ranked as the number one destination in Asia by the Lonely Planet in 2018. One does not have to guess hard to find the reasons behind this. The city is home of beautiful beaches, beautiful mountains and delicious food to try and traditional and modern culture to explore. Like so many, it is one of my favorite places to go on a trip. Even though I visited Busan many times, I could not explore the whole city. Every little part of the city has something different to offer.

On my last trip to Busan, I went there for some work. So I did not have much time to explore the city. I had only a day in my hand to look around the city. On that day I decide to explore BIFF Square, Jagalchi Market, and Bosu-Dong Book Street.
Busan city International Film Festival Square
If you are a film enthusiast you must have heard about the Busan International Film Festival. BIFF Square is the place where the main event is held. โBIFF Square Ground Openingโ is one of the most anticipating events of the year. During the ceremony, various events are held such as hand printing of famous movie stars. The place is not only famous during the Busan International Film Festival, but it has also become a popular complex or a cultural street. Various shops, restaurants have opened in the street. Also, various street vendors selling delicious Korean street food. The street is full of life even at night time. You can also look at the view of BIFF square from the rooftop restaurant.

Jagalchi Market is the largest seafood market in Korea. It is also considered one of the ten landmarks of the city of Busan. So it is really a popular place among locals as well as tourists. You can find all kinds of seafood. If you are a seafood lover, trust me this is the best place to get one of the most delicious food. Bosu-Dong Book Street
The book street was originally started by a refugee couple. At that time they used to sell second-hand magazines. With time many stores started opening in the neighborhood. Many artists and used to visit these book stores. Thus making the alley a regular place for customers to buy books. Today, the book street has become a living memorial of the past and a culture street. With the emergence of big book chain stores, the place has not been the same as it used to be. Nonetheless, it still one of the most famous tourist places in Busan. Locals, as well as tourists, visit the place.

If you are a book lover I recommend to visit this place on your trip to Busan. Myself, a book lover found this place a heaven. There were lots of used books, although not many in English. If you donโt want to buy a book this place can still be a must-visit place for you. Because you can buy not only books but various souvenirs such as bookmarks, postcards, and other stationery items. Bookmarks here were so pretty that I could not resist but to buy a few of them.

This is also a good place to get good shots if you are into street photography or book photography. Also, you can participate in Bosu-dong cultural event which is held every year.
