How to get there from Seoul?
The Cheapest Way – By bus
Take the intercity bus from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal to Jumunjin Express Bus Terminal. From Jumunjin Express Bus Terminal bus stop, hop on Bus No. 300 and get off at Jumunjin Beach Bus Stop.
About Jumunjin Beach
Jumunjin Beach is a beach located in the northernmost part of Gangneung. Jumunjin beach is also one of the cleanest beaches in Korea. The beach is 700m long and 9,608ใก in total area. One of speciality about Jumunjin is that the beach is surrounded with pine trees that offer shades on a hot sunny day.

Jumunjin Beach makes a great place for summer family vacations due to the shallow sea water. The beach is not crowed and sort of peaceful. It is a good place to spend time with your special ones as well as enjoying the quiet beauty.
Jumunjin Beach is also well known as a surfing spot among the youngsters. You can find a surf school here. It is a place where you can feel the passion of youth.
Besides, facilities such as campsite, parasol, tube rental, shower booths, storage lockers, restaurants, fitness park, nursing room and smoking area can also be found along the beach.
The beach is open 24 hours a day. However, do note that the swimming is only allowed from 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

BTS Bus Stop

The famous BTS bus stop is located along the Jumunjin Beach. This is where BTS had the album jacket photo shooting for โYOU NEVER WALK ALONEโin 2017.

In 2018, the Gangneung City Government has installed a replica of BTSโs bus stop at Jumunjin Beach, together with the setโs bus stop sign.
The bus stop does not function as an actual stop for local buses, so no buses will actually visit this stop. Instead, it is served as a photo spot for BTS fans and tourists take memorable photos.
