Who does not love the sea? The beach is indeed a perfect destination for healing. Here, you feel happiness.
Youngjin Beach
Youngjin Beach is located in Jumunjin, Gangwon-do. The beach is well known for the shallow turquoise waters and fine sands.
Walking miles in shallow water against the gorgeous blue sky is never tiring.
Jumunjin Breakwater
The popular Korean drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God has indeed left numerous iconic filming locations. One of the filming location that gained lots of attention from the public is the Jumunjin Breakwater. The place was feature in Episode 1 of the drama where both leads, Kim Shin (played by Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun Tak (played by Kim Go Eun) met the first time. It happened when Ji Eun Tak was blowing out her birthday candles and accidentally summoned the Goblin.

Jumunjin Breakwater is a stone wall built out into the sea in order to protect the coastline from the strong waves and alongshore drift.
The spot has become a bustling tourist attraction after the Korean drama Guardian filmed a scene here.
Even INFINITEโs Woohyun and Sungjong visited here for the famous scene from โGoblinโ on the episode โPyeongchang Olympic Special: Gangwon Province Winter Tripโ special of KBSโs travel variety show Battle Trip.

Summon your ‘Goblin’ here!
The scene was absolutely beautiful and worth all the way here. Also, be ready to get into line for the photoshoot.
The set is still popular among the public although the drama has ended 3 years ago. You can see many couples reenacting the scene from the drama by wearing red scarf and holding buckwheat flowers.
If youโre a big fan of Goblin, you cannot miss this spot in Korea!
Do note that there are a few breakwaters along the beach. Make sure you find the right one! There is a signboard set up in front of the breakwater.

Odd Coffee
Odd Coffee is a cafe located right in front of the Youngjin Beach. The cafe features violet as the main colour scheme.
The modern interior design and vibrant interior colors as well as all those colourful creative paintings turn the cafe into a really artistic space.
Since, the cafe is located very near to the beach, it is a perfect place to feel the beauty of sea.
The price range is good, considering it is located at a tourist site.
We had ice green tea latte, hot americano, ice sweet potato latte and ice cafe latte. The sweet potato latte tasted surprisingly good!
Last but not least, taking a selfie in front of big mirrors is a must!
