Jeju Island is one of the best summer holiday destinations in South Korea.ย This subtropical destination located about 60 kilometers south of the Korean Peninsula. You can see loads of vacationers, honeymooners and hikers in the island. Some people call this place Samdo-do, that means “Island of Three Abundances”. Jeju-do has an abundance of three things: Women (Haenyeo=female divers), strong Winds and Stone (black stones formed by a volcanic eruption).
During stay about 3 days 2 nights in Jeju Island, you can do different activities, besides enjoying pretty beaches. So today I would like to tell about some fun activities to do in Jeju-do. Letโs GO!!!
1. HERB DONGSAN
Calm your mind and feel the exotic atmosphere in the garden, where there are about 150 types of herbs. So many herbs and wildflowers in each garden!!! Herb Dongsan offers a great day out to enjoy nature, relax, relieve stress and anxiety. Make sure to explore all the gardens.
And moreover visitors can explore aroma foot spa. A therapist gives some bath products such as rosemary, rose salt, refreshing peppermint oil and explains how to use them. After the foot spa, another therapist sprays rosemary mist to the face, neck and hands. Lastly, they offer a cup of herb tea and the program finishes.
You can take a break in cafes anytime if you need. I recommend to stop by cafe Botanica170 for a delicious meal. You donโt need to go out, because itโs located inside the Herb Dongsan.
I really liked this fantastic, amazing, beautiful garden. Also this place is good for lovers, because there are lots of romantic photo zones for take the photo and create precious moments of Jeju-do.

2. JEJU CITY TOUR BUS
Another activity is exploring sights of Island by JEJU CITY TOUR BUS. City tour bus is a quick and easy way to see the city. Although taxi is available, but it costs not so cheap, thatโs why tour bus is a useful option. I strongly recommend this way to explore multiple sights of city, because itโs really convenient way than others. In summary there are 22 stops. Starting Point is Jeju International Airport. As for me, I stopped at Dongmun Traditional Market, Yongyeon Cloud Bridge and Iho Tewoo Beach. Was really easy to visit 3 places during one day by one transport^^.

3. JEJU ISLANDโS FOOD
Jeju Island is famous for its fresh seafood, black pork and abalone that must be tried. It was very hard to choose restaurant over another that served these dishes. Anyway, I can recommend these three restaurants.
First one is โGotdeoramenโ. You can have octopus or crab and shrimps with ramen (= ~12,000 WON). So tasty, so delicious!!! The big bowl of fresh seafood ramen will leave one of the best memories about Jeju Island. Also they cook delicious seafood pancake Haemul Pajeon (=15,000 WON).
The second restaurant is โGogiwangโ. Black pigโs meat is grilled over charcoal (=18,000 WON). While itโs being grilled, you can smell the aroma of the meat. This exotic meat seems similar with regular pork meat, but the price is higher and the taste is more special and juicy than regular pork.
The last one is โPyeongdae Jeonbokโ restaurant. This restaurant only served abalone dishes. Grilled abalone is one of the expensive food. I couldnโt try grilled abalone, because the price was very high (=40,000 WON), but I tried abalone porridge (=16,000 WON). Was so happy to try fresh abalone with rice!!!
4. SOME JEJU CAFES RECOMMENDATIONS
“Cafe Hanlasan” is a cafe situated near the Sehwa beach. I think it is a perfect place to rest after visiting the most exciting places in Jeju Island. It has two separate buildings, so it should not be hard to get a table. The atmosphere of the coffee shop is also good and pleasant. You can take an amazing pictures there ><.
I recommend to try their signature carrot cake. It’s really delicious. I hope their coffee and cake will leave good memories about your Jeju trip.

Another place where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or another drink is “Ihodong cafe”.
It’s located near the Iho Taewoo beach, that’s why I guess the name of the cafe starts from the “Iho”. The place is decorated with old-fashion stuffs and looks like a traditional Korean house hanok. You can find there relaxing music and relaxing atmosphere. Also, the female owner of this cafe is very kind person, who helps to choose a nice drink^^.
